Different industries. Different audiences. One repeatable skill.

I have spent fifteen years proving that marketing capability travels. From IP-licensed entertainment campaigns for global gaming franchises in Canada to brand and commercial leadership across the GCC, the constant has been the same: taking complex propositions and turning them into commercial results. Today I run brand, creative, and commercial strategy for two brands at once, own an AED 3M annual budget, report directly to the CEO, and have delivered an AED 2M+ net-profit programme and a sponsorship stream generating AED 300,000 a year from a standing start.

I have had to make marketing work across very different audiences, products, and commercial models. That breadth has shaped me into an integrated marketing leader who connects brand and creative strategy to commercial outcomes with instinct and clarity.

Expo 2020 Dubai Official Tours Programme

Developing a commercially significant visitor experience programme for one of the world's largest events.

Context

Desert Adventures was appointed the only official tour operator for Expo 2020 Dubai.

My Role

Played a central role in developing the official tours programme — tour concepts, storytelling frameworks, guide scripts, training material, pavilion coordination, VIP and corporate experiences, branding collateral, and tour operations support.

Key Contributions

  • Developed three walking tour programmes from scratch, each exploring a different Expo 2020 district
  • Developed two bicycle tour programmes
  • Trained more than 60 guides for the official tours programme who conducted nearly 70,000 tours in 10 different languages
  • Developed branding collateral and production requirements for Expo Tours, including the Expo Tours booth design
  • Created and managed over 100 customized VIP tours for corporate clients during the six-month event
  • Supported VIP and corporate experiences for clients including Apple, Porsche Group, Saudi PIF Group, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and others
  • Developed a highly customized Cartier Middle East VIP tour experience in coordination with the Women's Pavillion, which included exclusive country pavilion access across the site and Michelin-level dining experiences
